Zia Chauhan is an interdisciplinary researcher, therapeutic art professional, author, and mentor whose work integrates psychology, expressive arts, neuroscience-informed practices, and symbolic therapeutic systems. Her professional approach is rooted in the synthesis of scientific rigour, creative intelligence, and human-centred therapeutic frameworks to support emotional wellbeing, skill development, and community mental health.

She is currently pursuing a research-based Ph.D. from an international university**. Her academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, reflecting a rare convergence of analytical precision and therapeutic insight.

Professionally, she brings extensive applied expertise as a Therapeutic Art Practitioner and Grapho-therapist, working across diverse emotional, cognitive, and relational contexts. Her therapeutic practice integrates Art Therapy (AT), Transpersonal Mandala Art Therapy, and Relationship Counselling, with a focused emphasis on emotional regulation, personality development, cognitive–emotional integration, and the cultivation of inner resilience through structured expressive and symbolic processes. She also serves as a Dementia Trainer under the Dementia India Alliance, contributing to awareness, training, and capacity building in the areas of cognitive decline, dementia care, and caregiver sensitisation.

Alongside her therapeutic and academic engagements, Zia Chauhan has held a corporate leadership role as a Project Manager at Bruker Detection, an organisation operating in the field of CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) detection technologies. This experience underscores her ability to operate within high-precision, responsibility-driven environments while maintaining a strong commitment to ethical practice and human wellbeing.

She is the author of “Dhairya – A Beginner’s Guide to the Mandala Journey”, a work that introduces Mandala practice as a structured pathway for self-reflection, emotional stability, and inner discipline. Her research contributions focus on the role of expressive arts, symbolic patterns, and structured skill-based practices in emotional regulation, personality development, and the management of emotional discomfort across educational and therapeutic settings.

As an educator and mentor, she has guided over 3,000 Mandala Art aspirants, curated comprehensive Mandala-based learning programmes, and serves as an NSDC-approved Calligraphy Instructor, contributing actively to skill development, therapeutic education, and practitioner training.

As the Founder–Director of SFS Foundation, Zia Chauhan provides visionary leadership grounded in integrating science, psychology, expressive arts, and indigenous knowledge systems, with the objective of fostering emotional resilience, self-regulation, and holistic growth at the individual, institutional, and community levels.
